For a newly built central air-conditioning, corrosion may occur on the equipment of the cooling water system and chill water system, and cutting oil and antirust oil may be brought in during the manufacturing, machining, transportation and storage period; Fragments, oils, sediment and foreign matters may be left during the installation process. Therefore, before being put into operation, the cooling water system and chill water system should always be cleaned too.

The cleaning range of a circulating water system: The cleaning of the circulating water system of a central air-conditioning includes the cleaning on the cooling water system as well as on the chill water system. The cleaning on the cooling water system is mainly to clear away such sediments as the scale, biological fouling and corrosion products on cooling tower, inner walls of cooling water pipes, the heat transfer surface of condenser, etc. The cleaning of the chill water system is mainly to clear away such sediments as the biological fouling, corrosion products, etc on the heat transfer surface of evaporator, the inner walls of chill water pipes, inner wall of blower coil and inside the equipment within the air-conditioning system.
